CELEBRATE THE GORGEOUS COUPLE
Talk about cute!
This cute couple spent some time surrounded by family and friends as they celebrated their engagement. These guys will be tying the knot in the beginning of 2024 abroad. To celebrate with family and friends from the area, the groom-to-be's family prepared an engagement party at the family's property.
We were blessed with beautiful weather after days of rain. The sun came out and shined a GORGEOUS sunset. I was lucky enough to capture the fun of the party, some family pictures, and a quick engagement session.
The celebration started right about when the sun was about to go down. "The best things happen after dark," am I right? ;)
As the guest arrived, many began to share memories of the lovely couple. The space was beautifully put together, with a laid back atmosphere that encouraged laughter, jokes, drinks, and tons of food. People came from all over and it quickly got pretty crowded. Soon the guests of honor made the appearance and the party just got better.
Many of the guest spend their time catching up and enjoying each other's company. Others spent their time inside with a mouth watering hor d'oeuvres. Some of the boys, and girls, enjoyed a classic game of football. For the life of me I cannot remember who was playing!
Nerves, is that you?
I must admit, I am always a nervous wreck before an event. I don't know if it's because my awkward self can't picture myself with a bunch of strangers, especially crashing their conversations to take pictures... but I'm always a bit more nervous that with a portrait session.
However, I must also admit that I had the most fun! Everyone was super laid back and comfortable with with werido walking around them and snapping along as they chatted haha! I truly did love how each of these photos came out. I love the fact that I was able to forever capture this very special moment between family and friends <3
