Guide to a perfect cap and gown mini photo session:

ONE: Choose the Right Outfit

Make sure your cap and gown are clean and wrinkle-free.

Wear appropriate clothing underneath your gown. Choose something that complements the colors of your cap and gown.

Consider wearing solid colors that won't distract from the main focus of the photos.

TWO: Grooming

Plan to get a haircut or style your hair neatly before the session.

Keep your makeup (if you wear any) natural and subtle.

Pay attention to personal grooming, such as shaving or grooming facial hair.

Wear neutral color nails to avoid distractions.

THREE: Practice Posing:

Look for inspiration online or in magazines for different poses. Pinterest is your best friend here!

Practice smiling naturally in front of a mirror to find your best angles.

Remember to relax and have fun during the session. Natural and relaxed poses often result in the best photos.

FOUR: Accessorize

Consider adding personal touches such as flowers, jewelry, or a sash to your outfit to make your photos unique.

Bring any additional props or items you want to include in your photos, such as your diploma, books, or a graduation cap decoration.

FIVE: Arrive on time

This is crucial to ensure your mini session is successful. Since you are only allotted 15 minutes for the session, if you arrive late, you are likely getting on the way of the next session. If this happens, it is possible that we will have to reschedule your session.

SIX: Bring your cap and gown

This goes without saying, but some may just need the extra reminder ;) These are CAP & GOWN sessions, therefore you NEED your cap and gown. Make sure they are wrinkle-free!

SEVEN: Have Fun and Be Yourself

Graduation is a time to celebrate your accomplishments, so enjoy the experience and let your personality shine through in the photos.
